The ragga-metal is smooth as silk this time around, a mellowing that emphasises the pure class of the writing. The real beauty of βYou Got Thisβ is how it is universal in in how you can listen to it. Club night, no problem, chill time, same songs apply, in the car, watch that road and sing along. There isnβt a situation where it wonβt bring a huge smile to your face. Even tough topics are dealt with in an empathetic but upbeat way. βBrokeβ is a song so many will identify with but it doesnβt vent, it makes you feel seen instead. You see vintage acts revisiting popular works from their past and playing entire albums to fans. Well this is an album that can be wheeled out in its entirety right now live and it will be loved.
